What is the difference between a smoothie and a cold-pressed juice?


A smoothie is when you take fruit, vegetables, superfoods, nuts, and any other ingredients, and toss it into a blender. Voila!

Juices, on the other hand, extract only the juice from fruits and veggies, and leave out the fiber. This allows you to get a blast of nutrients that will easily be taken into the body, minus the hard work your body endures during digestion- no “breakdown” required. The amount of nutrients you would get from a typical bottle of raw, cold-pressed juice would be much more than you would be able to eat for a meal.

Overall, both smoothies and juices provide two different ways to drink your way to optimum health, and offer their own set of unique health benefits.
